Privacy policy

If you only play (no account)

We do not ask who you are.

• We record which game was started and for how long, how far you got (level started or finished, game over, best score), whether an ad filled, and technical errors. These arrive as small batches with a random id made for that visit. They hold no name, email, IP address or cookie, and we cannot tell which person a visit was. We keep them for 90 days.
• Website visits are counted by Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookies.
• Your device keeps a few settings (theme, favourites, recently played, game progress) in its own storage. They never leave your device unless you sign in.
• Children's games collect nothing and save nothing.

If you sign in with Google (optional)

• We receive your Google account id, email address, display name and language. We store them, with the date you joined.
• We store the progress that games ask us to keep for you (a small amount of text per game; limits: 64 KB per game, 1 MB in total).
• We set one cookie, __Host-ig_player, to keep you signed in for 30 days. It is strictly necessary for the sign-in you asked for.
• We do not store anything about children's games, your play history, or advertising identifiers.

Ads

In the EU, the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, ads run only if you press "Allow ads" on the consent bar. You can change your mind any time under "Privacy settings" in the footer (your choice is kept in your browser). Where ads run, our advertising partner may use cookies or similar technology to show and measure them.

What we use it for

To run the games, keep your progress, count how many people play what, find and fix errors, and decide which games to build or promote. We do not sell your data and we do not use it to build advertising profiles.

Who sees it

Our staff who run the site, Cloudflare (our hosting provider, which stores the data in its network) and Google (only to sign you in).

Your choices

• Download your data, and delete your account and every saved game, at any time from your profile page. Deletion removes your account and saves from our database immediately; our database provider keeps point-in-time backups for up to 30 days, and nothing is restored from them for an individual.
• Play as a guest and nothing is stored about you.
• An account that has not signed in for 24 months is deleted.
